Interstate 40 in California, Mile Marker
12 near the Barstow Daggett Airport exit.
Patrick reports "The CHP likes to hang out
at the Barstow Daggett Airport exit 200 yards out on the west bound side of
the freeway".
Patric also reports "The airport there is
the CHP aviation location for the Cajon Pass to the Nevada state line and the
Arizona state line." on Interstates 15 and 40
Our experience indicates westbound drivers have
enjoyed 100 miles of open road and are likely to have their guard down as they
approach the Barstow Daggett Airport exit.
There are 7 specific "Situations" where you can find bears because
they are creatures of habit.
